Winter family fun on Table Mountain
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway's family winter special will start on May 1, running until October 31.
Two children under 18 years will ride for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. The special is valid over weekends and public holidays and every day of the following school holidays - June 10 to July 12 and September 24 to October 3.
A special holiday programme for kids will be running during the five-week long holiday which features a Winter Treasure Trail, spot prizes, magic shows, face painting and craft activities. Children will be entertained and taken on guided walks by the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway characters - Ernie the Explorer, Dale the Dassie and the Yeti. Additional activities include story-telling of the Myths and Legends of Table Mountain.
The Table Mountain Café is offering a delicious kiddies wonderland menu for R30 each, plus a free cup of hot chocolate or fruit juice.
Kids also stand a chance of winning their own Table Mountain Aerial Cableway beanie and scarf every month until October 31. Entry forms are available on the back of the Winter Treasure Trail map, available at the ticket office.
The Cableway's Family Winter Special ticket price is R160 per adult return and includes two children under 18 years travelling for free. The offer is valid on return fares only.
